Los Gatos Historic Commercial District: To discover well-preserved examples of the Mission/Spanish Revival and Romanesque architecture from between 1975 and 1949, stop by the Los Gatos Historic Commercial District. Featuring 19 buildings across 50 acres, this area was affirmed as a historical district in 1991 after several buildings were destroyed in the devastating 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake.

If you are looking for a more leisurely hike, the Scout Trail starts just east of the freeway overpass on East Main Street. This hike offers charming shady creek-side groves leading up the mountain.
Vasona County Park: The 151-acre park is a popular spot among Santa Clara Valley residents and is a great spot for hiking, sports, recreation, and picnics. On the weekends, many Los Gatos residents’ head to Vasona County Park to fly a kite, toss a Frisbee, or play a game of soccer, softball, or volleyball.
